Digital Learning Project Lead

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate, organised person to lead our various eLearning projects; ensuring the best customer experience, most efficient delivery and highest quality product. You will be supported by our Learning Development Manager to help our team and our clients work together to produce fantastic digital learning solutions.

You will need to be highly organised and forward thinking to guide clients and internal teams through multiple project deliveries. Each project you take on will be yours to organise and direct, ensuring that budgets and schedules are met, with the learner and client requirements kept at the heart of everything. It’s your strength of character and passion which keeps your project teams together and on track to deliver brilliant outcomes for your clients.

You will need to apply your excellent communication skills to manage your clients’ expectations, and support designers as they create the learning solution; with the highest quality and customer satisfaction feedback scores.

You will be working on any number of client projects and internal projects at any one time, dependent on the business requirements. As such, you will be responsible for organising and managing your own time to ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner, that other members of our high performing project team remain on schedule and budget, as well ensuring each deliverable is of the highest quality.

main responsibilities 

  • Delivering projects and managing deliveries through all phases of the project, using the appropriate project management methodology with support from the Learning Development Manager
  • Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues in regard to projects and be responsible for all change requests during and post project implementation
  • Regularly communicating with clients to understand their challenges, keep our teams informed and manage expectations; raising awareness of and manage risks
  • Maintaining the standards and requirements from the client, through reviews of the project content prior to delivery and providing feedback on corrections/solutions where relevant
  • Maintaining internal documents, such as project plans, checklists and quality feedback
    Supporting in the preparation of reports and operational data to support senior management, where necessary
  • Support our community to identify improvements, share ideas, re-apply skills and knowledge to bring best practice into the business

skills and requirements 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of delivering digital or learning projects to time, budget and quality
  • Excellent project coordination, time management and problem solving skills
  • Experience maintaining high standards and monitoring quality, from spelling mistakes and punctuation to client standards and learning requirements
  • Ability to take direction and be proactive in moving tasks forward
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Experience of resolving issues, supporting and responding to queries from other functions such as designers, developers, testers and client representatives
  • Experience in working in a digital environment using software products such as Office 365, SharePoint and project management tools
  • A passion for delivering high quality
  • A love of learning and the ability to learn on the job, enjoying a range of different tasks (every week will be different!) and a curiosity to uncover new ways of doing things
  • Loyalty in working together as one team, being committed to supporting each other

location and Salary

The role is a hybrid role with remote working, and regular travel to Bristol and London.

The salary band for this role is £28K to £32K dependent on experience.
